Linkos S.A. is a second generation Greek company, which for 30 years has been supplying pharmacies and pharmacies with medical devices and parapharmaceutical products, active pharmaceutical ingredients, raw materials, laboratory equipment and packaging materials.

Anticipating the increasing involvement of the Greek pharmacist in the field of compounding, the Board of Directors of Linkos SA proceeded to one of the largest investments in the company's history: the creation of a new state-of-the-art unit for the repackaging of active pharmaceutical substances and raw materials. This unit meets high quality and safety criteria and has a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance certification from the National Organization for Medicines (EOF), as well as certification for the Medical Device Quality Management System ISO 13485:2016.

In the summer of 2020, in the midst of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, our company, always standing next to society and wanting to ensure a sufficient supply of medical masks, proceeded to the installation and operation of a production unit of certified medical masks under the brand name SynMask.

Using our many years of experience in the field of galenic formulation and with the help of the company's scientific staff specialized in pharmaceutical technology, we proceeded since 2015 to develop and create a series of specialized products - bases for the preparation of galenic formulations in the pharmacy laboratory (compounding) under the brand name CHEMCO. At the same time, the Medical Information Department for dermatologists started to operate in order to train them in the possibilities offered by the preparation of galenic formulations in the Greek pharmacy, while the commercial department of the company has been operating since 2013, covering the whole of mainland and island Greece.

Already since 2014, supporting Greek pharmacists, the Association has offered compounding training seminars for pharmacists in cooperation with the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Athens and the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Patras, thus giving the opportunity for training to pharmacists who want to deepen their knowledge and skills in the field of compounding.

Also, since 2019 we support the lifelong education of pharmacists by participating as sponsors in the educational seminars organized by the Panhellenic Pharmaceutical Association and the IDEAAF in cooperation with local Pharmaceutical Associations throughout Greece on the following topics: "Exemplary preparation of pharmaceutical formulations - Quality Assurance in the Pharmacy Laboratory according to the European Pharmacopoeia".
