With this Policy against Violence and Harassment at Work, the company named 'ASSOCIATION OF ANONYMOUS IMPORT AND TRADING COMPANY OF PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCTS - PHARMACOPOEIA' and the distinctive title "SYNDESMOS S.A. - PHARMACEUTICALS" (hereinafter referred to as the "Company" or the "Employer") expressly declares the its zero tolerance of incidents and forms of behaviour that are understood as violence and harassment and its will to ensure that the working environment is dominated by occupational safety and respect for human dignity.
All forms of violence and harassment, whether related to or arising from work, including gender-based violence and harassment and sexual harassment, are prohibited. It is also expressly prohibited to take any retaliatory action against another person who opposes any form of violence or harassment, makes a complaint, files a complaint, testifies, assists or participates in any investigation of an incident, wherever such retaliatory action originates.
This Policy on Combating Violence and Harassment at Work is an integral part of the policies developed by the Company on respect for human rights and their safeguarding, equality of employment opportunities and anti-discrimination in the working environment. Within the framework of this Policy and the other policies and procedures followed by the Company, specific Procedures are implemented, including:
(a) the assessment of the risks of violence and harassment at work;
(b) the measures to prevent, control, mitigate and respond to such risks and to monitor such incidents or patterns of behaviour; and
(c) information and awareness-raising activities for staff.

Scope of application

This Policy applies to employees and those employed by the Company, regardless of their contractual status, including those employed under a contract of employment, independent services, paid assignments, those employed through third party service providers, as well as persons attending training, including trainees and apprentices, volunteers, employees whose employment relationship has ended, and persons applying for employment with the Company.

Measures to tackle violence and harassment,

α) The Company will receive, investigate and manage any complaint or report by demonstrating zero tolerance to violence and harassment, in a confidential manner and in a way that respects human dignity, as it will not interfere with the receipt, investigation and management of such complaints or reports.
b) The Company will provide assistance and access to any competent public, administrative or judicial authority in the investigation of such an incident or conduct, if requested by them.
c) The Company shall ensure an accessible, safe and friendly working environment where relations between employees, partners, management and members of the Company are characterised by mutual respect, courtesy, honesty, understanding, trust, cooperation and support, while providing employees with information on the potential risks of violence and harassment in the workplace and on the relevant prevention and protection measures, including the obligations and rights of employees and the employer in such matters.
d) The Company will provide information on the rights and obligations of employees and the employer, as well as of persons exercising managerial authority or representing the employer, to the extent and to the extent of their own responsibility, in the event of the occurrence or reporting or reporting of such incidents.
ε) The Company will post at the workplace and make accessible information on the procedures that exist at the Company level for reporting and dealing with such forms of conduct, as well as the contact details for the competent administrative and judicial authorities in accordance with the applicable provisions. f) The Company distributes materials to combat violence and harassment, ensuring that everyone is aware of the Company's policy and procedures against incidents of violence and harassment and knows where to go in case of violence or harassment.
g) The Company trains its managers to recognise violence and harassment at work and to provide the necessary support to its staff and partners.
η) The Company encourages its employees and other persons within the scope of this policy to report incidents of workplace violence and harassment that they witness.
i) The Company, within the limits of its capabilities, takes all appropriate measures and makes all reasonable adjustments to working conditions to protect employment and support employees - victims of domestic violence.
ι) The Company shall designate as a reference person ("liaison") at the company level, responsible for guiding and informing employees on the prevention and treatment of violence and harassment at work, the Vasiliki Papagianni ([email protected], tel. 210 2693600, ext. 29).
It is noted that the above obligations of the Company are also borne by all persons who, either systematically or occasionally, exercise part of the managerial right or represent the employer in general (senior managers, supervisors, etc.). These persons are responsible for compliance with the above in their sector and area of responsibility.
